This Oahu waterfall hiking tour takes guests along the Manoa Falls Trail to the 150-foot waterfall called Manoa Falls, seen in Jurassic Park and Lost. This guided hike is fun and easy, and suitable for people all ages and experience levels. Your knowledgeable guide will entertain with fun facts and information about Hawaii's plants, flowers and trees of the Manoa Valley, as you take in the natural beauty of Hawaii. The tour stops at scenic locations along the way for photo opportunities. Upon decent, you'll pick up a delicious sandwich or acai bowl from Andy's Sandwich Shop (included) and enjoy lunch with a view at Tantalus Lookout, nestled atop a 1,000-foot hill with a breathtaking panoramic view of Honolulu and Waikiki.

A quick drive away from the city of Waikiki is the forest of Manoa. Experience the energy of the forest on this trail well-known for its hiking trail, Manoa Falls Trail. This trail winds through a tropical forest used in many blockbuster films and TV shows, including Jurassic Park and Lost. This trail is accessible and appropriate for all ages. It lies in the middle of the island and is surrounded by Hawaii’s greatest nature.

The hike is a total of 1.7 miles with an elevation gain of 633ft. The trail is paved a majority of the way, then the trail terrain gets rocky and quite slippery and when raining, this hike is considered moderate.

Please bring comfortable shoes and clothing. Please make sure your shoes can be in the mud, as this part of the island can receive rain. A light rain jacket and mosquito spray are also a good idea.

The 45-minute hike is very mild and can be done by most people, from children to the elderly.

What kind of lunch is served on the tour?

Lunch from Andy’s Sandwich shop is provided as part of the Nature and You tour. In addition to the pastrami sandwich, guests also have their choice of a vegan sandwich or acai bowl.

Can you pick me up in other parts of the island?

Sorry, but pick up is only at designated locations around Waikiki.

Can I swim on this tour?

It is not recommended to swim on this tour.
