Adventures of Jean Lafitte is located approximately 40 minutes from New Orleans, and is open 7 days a week for your convenience. Don’t have transportation? Don’t fret, we got you and your crew. We offer round trip transportation from any hotel in the Greater New Orleans area for a small additional fee.

Approximately 35-45 minutes from New Orleans in the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve at 5145 Fleming Park Rd, Lafitte, LA 70067. Please note to give yourself an hour to get there in case of traffic! If preferred, round trip transportation is available from major hotels in the downtown New Orleans/French Quarter area.

Are there any age/physical/health/etc. restrictions for this tour?

Wheelchairs, strollers, etc. are allowed on the pontoon boat. There is a ramp that allows easy access. The only requirement is that you must also be able to board the boat without their assistance.

What should I wear?

They highly recommend comfortable, casual clothing that is appropriate for the weather. Please keep in mind that it can sometimes be slightly chillier on the water.

Is transportation included? If so, where is the pick-up spot or how do I arrange it?

They provide round trip transportation from major hotels in the downtown New Orleans/ French Quarter area! When they say “door to door service”, they truly mean it. They will pick you up right in front of your hotel door. Pick-up begins an hour and thirty minutes prior to your scheduled bayou tour time. It is critical that you are ready and waiting at your pickup location, because their drivers have a small time frame to pick up all guests. Please note that if you need transportation, you MUST choose the hotel pick-up option when selecting your tickets, and enter your hotel in when in the check out process.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
