Howl-O-Scream is the park's annual Halloween event, held on select nights each fall. After dark, Busch Gardens transforms into a terrifying playground with haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, and thrill rides in the dark. This event is recommended for older teens and adults, as it features intense scares and mature themes.

Designated smoking stations are available throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, benches and "Designated Smoking Area" signs, which are situated near most restrooms. These signs are marked on the park maps.
No, pets are not allowed. Only trained service animals are permitted at Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.
Yes. Pets can be boarded in the climate-controlled kennel in the England Parking Lot, for a fee and subject to availability. Service is available from park open to close. Owners must feed and walk their pets; staff will provide water. Arrange at Guest Relations on arrival or pre-book by calling the number on your e-ticket. Preferred parking is required for the England Parking Lot.
One bottle of water per person and single-serve sized snacks (approx. 2 oz or less) are allowed inside the parks, as well as baby formula and medicines. Otherwise, outside food and beverages are prohibited, including hard/soft coolers, glass containers, alcohol, and flavored drinks. Guests with medical diets or baby formula should speak with a team member for assistance before entering the park. For your convenience, the park offers picnic areas adjacent to the entrance/exit plaza outside the park. If leaving the park to enjoy your food, please have your hand stamped for re-admittance.
Strollers, manual wheelchairs, and electric scooters are available to rent at the top of the hill near the ticket windows and the France parking lot. You must be 18+ years of age to rent electric scooters and wheelchairs.
Yes. All-day lockers are available in the England village behind M. Sweets Confectionary, and ride-specific lockers are located at major attractions throughout the park. Transferable Ride Locker Passes are also available for added convenience.
The park stays open during most weather, and there are indoor shows and attractions to enjoy while it passes. But if heavy rain, lightning, or extreme conditions significantly affect your visit, you may qualify for a free return visit through the Weather-or-Not Assurance program. Just stop by Guest Relations or submit a request online within 7 days.
Weather-or-Not Assurance allows you to return for another visit if your day is disrupted by extreme weather. If rides are closed for over an hour due to rain, lightning, high winds, snow, or extreme heat—or if the park closes early—you may be eligible for a free return ticket. This applies to most standard admission tickets but not to annual passes, complimentary tickets, or certain promotional offers. To qualify, visit Guest Relations or submit your request online within 7 days of your visit using your original ticket or order number.
