How much is parking?

Parking is $15 per vehicle when the park is open and in operation. When the ride park is not scheduled to open, there’s no charge for parking; the side entrance on Polk St. is how you will access parking for miniature golf and the arcade.

Is Castle Park suitable for children?

Castle Park is family-friendly and offers free admission for children under 36 inches tall. However, the seasonal event Castle Dark is a haunting Halloween nighttime experience and is not suitable for guests under 13 years old.

Does Castle Park sell beer?

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside Castle Park. It is also a non-smoking facility. Please note that tailgating (serving and consuming alcoholic drinks in the parking lot) is also not allowed.

Are there food and drinks for sale?

Castle Park has a wide selection of food and drinks to choose from, such as hamburgers, fries, pizza, salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, ice cream, soft drinks, popcorn, funnel cakes, and cotton candy.

What if I have food allergies?

The park offers a variety of options for different dietary needs, but regular kitchen operations involve shared cooking areas and may lead to variations in suppliers, ingredients, and preparation. As a result, the park cannot guarantee allergy-free food and drinks. It is important to note that the park offers basic first aid but does not provide medical treatments or devices such as EpiPens or oxygen tanks. Visitors are encouraged to plan their visit accordingly.

Can I bring in my own food and drinks?

Guests are also welcome to bring food in an approved-sized bag—subject to inspection. Castle Park allows one (1) bag up to size 15”x15”x15” per guest. Plus, one (1) soft-sided cooler up to size 12”x12”x 12”. Alcohol or glass containers will not be permitted inside.

How can I pay for parking, food, etc.?

Castle Park is cashless and only accepts major credit/debit cards and secure mobile payment systems such as Apple Pay and Google Pay at parking and ticket booths, arcade, food locations, and souvenir shops.

Is there a chaperone policy?

Yes, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Please note that the park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.

Are there height requirements for any of the rides?

Yes, all rides and attractions have a height requirement to participate. The requirements are on signs at the entrance of each ride or attraction.

Is the park wheelchair accessible?

The park is ADA-compliant and strives to accommodate guests with disabilities. Most attractions and restaurants are accessible to wheelchair users and others with special needs. However, for safety reasons, riders with certain medical devices, like casts or prosthetics, may be restricted from certain rides or required to remove the device. Please consult a park manager for specific ride guidelines.

Are pets allowed?

Only service animals are permitted inside the park, specifically service-trained dogs and miniature ponies that assist individuals with disabilities. They must always be on a leash or harness and under their handler's control. Service animals are not permitted on rides, with the exception of the Castle Park Railroad, Riverside Express, Sky Rider, and Merry Go Round. If a service animal cannot join, another guest must wait with them at the ride's entrance or exit.
