Where does the Chicago 3D Fireworks Cruise depart?

The cruise will depart from the First Lady's dock on the Chicago Riverwalk at the southeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge at Wacker Drive. For GPS directions, use 112 E. Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60601.

Where is the closest parking?

The closest parking is at LAZ Parking Garage at 111 E. Wacker Drive, a garage across the street from the street-level dock entrance. Discount rates available for guests with validation: $14 for 1-3 hours or $15 for 3-4 hours of parking. After 4 hours, standard rates apply. Don’t forget to have your parking ticket stamped at the ticket window or on your boat in order to receive the discounted rate. Stamped tickets must be further validated at the parking garage office before leaving.

How long is the cruise?

The cruise lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the Chicago Harbor Lock traffic.

When does the cruise start boarding?

Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Priority boarding starts 20 minutes before departure with skip-the-queue access during general boarding. Choose any seat, all offer a great view.

What will I see on the cruise?

You will see Chicago’s lakefront skyline on a nighttime cruise that departs from the Chicago Riverwalk, passes through the Chicago Harbor Lock, and heads out onto Lake Michigan. The cruise features live narration, stunning city views, and a 3D fireworks display accompanied by music, with complimentary 3D glasses provided.

Is the cruise appropriate for children?

Yes, the cruise is enjoyable for all ages. Plus, children 3 years and under can join the cruise for free, but don’t forget to select a free ticket for them.

Is the boat stroller accessible?

Yes, strollers may be brought aboard and will be folded and stored in the indoor salon for the duration of the cruise. They are not allowed on the deck. Please note, children must be removed from strollers before boarding.

Is the boat wheelchair accessible?

The boat is wheelchair accessible with advance notice. Please call First Lady via the number on your e-ticket after booking. For safety reasons, the ship cannot accommodate motorized scooters and electric wheelchairs. Guests who can transfer may use the company's manual wheelchair, subject to availability.

Is there an elevator down to the river?

At this time, the Riverwalk does not offer any elevators. The boats board on the Chicago Riverwalk, located down a 2-level staircase at the northeast corner of N. Michigan Ave and E. Wacker Drive (112 E. Wacker Drive). For guests unable to use stairs, a ramp is available to access the Riverwalk. Access on the north side of Wacker Drive, just east of State Street. Proceed down 2 levels to the Chicago Riverwalk and continue east (towards the Wabash Bridge) for 2 blocks until you see our ticket office, just east of the Michigan Avenue Bridge (the DuSable Bridge).

Can I bring a pet?

Only ADA-defined service animals are allowed on the cruise.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, there will be lots of fun photo opportunities.

Do they serve food and drinks on the boat?

Beverages such as water, soda, canned cocktails, beer, and wine are available for purchase on board. Please note that outside alcoholic drinks are not allowed. Snacks, including small items such as chips, cookies, and nuts are also available for purchase.

Are there restrooms on the boat?

Yes, of course!

What happens if it rains on or before the cruise?

Cruises sail rain or shine. The boat has open and covered seating on board.
