No. Kings Dominion does not offer discounted admission for non-riders. All guests entering the park must have a valid admission ticket, regardless of whether they plan to ride attractions.
Children 3 and older require a Kings Dominion ticket; children 2 and under are admitted free.
Most rides and attractions remain open during rain. Some attractions will close when inclement weather prohibits their safe operation, but will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Please enjoy a show, meal or shopping until such weather passes. Kings Dominion does not offer rainchecks or refunds once you have entered the park.
Outside food, drinks, and coolers are not permitted inside the park. Three shaded picnic areas are available in the parking lot, but grills and open fires are not allowed. Guests with special dietary or medical needs should visit Guest Services at the Front Gate for assistance.
Get a re-entry ticket at the designated exit turnstiles before leaving. To re-enter the parking lot, display your parking ticket on your dashboard. During Halloween Haunt, re-entry is not permitted after 6:00 PM.
Yes. Wheelchair rentals are available at the “Upgrade Your Day” location near the Main Entrance. A limited number of motorized wheelchairs are also offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only service animals are permitted inside the park. Pets can be left at the Kings Dominion Pet Care Center, located outside the Front Gate, during park operating hours for a $20 fee.
Smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the designated smoking area just outside the Main Gate. Smoking is not permitted inside Kings Dominion.
All-day locker rentals are available at "Upgrade Your Day" near the Front Gate on a first-come, first-served basis. Prices are approximately $15 for a small locker, $20 for a medium, and $30 for a large. Additional lockers are available in Soak City. Prices are subject to change.
Your admission to Kings Dominion includes all rides, live shows and attractions, and the Soak City waterpark. Your admission ticket does not include paid attractions (SkyFlyer) or separately ticketed events.
Single-day parking is $35 per vehicle and Preferred Parking is $45 per vehicle. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available near the Front Gate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Soak City Water Park (seasonal) is included free with your Kings Dominion ticket(s). Don't forget to bring appropriate swimwear.
Guests must be 21 or older to purchase, possess, or consume alcoholic beverages in the park. A valid government-issued photo ID is required. Alcohol may only be consumed in designated areas.
If you are looking to cool off in some AC with the little ones, Planet Snoopy Family Care Center has it all. This 1,100-square-foot facility is located next to the restroom in Planet Snoopy and features a room for parents to feed their children and a microwave to warm up their child’s bottle.
No. Kings Dominion is a cashless park and does not have cash-dispensing ATMs. Cash-to-card kiosks are available throughout the park to convert cash into a prepaid debit card for use during your visit.

No. Drones (unmanned aerial systems) are not permitted at Kings Dominion. Unauthorized drones may be reported to the FAA and local law enforcement, as they can pose safety risks and violate FAA guidelines.
All guests pass through metal detectors on public operating days, and all bags, purses, backpacks, and waist packs are inspected before entry. Prohibited items include sharp objects (such as pocket knives or metal chains), firearms, and any other items that could be considered weapons—these should be left at home or secured in your vehicle. The park uses uniformed and plainclothes security officers along with video surveillance to help ensure guest safety. Fighting or harassing other guests is not tolerated and may result in removal, a ban from the park, and possible arrest.
