The timeless New England destination began its tradition of fun more than 175 years ago, and today features more than 45 rides and attractions, including Crocodile Cove, Connecticut’s largest water park, and the six-story Venus Vortex water slide.

Lake Compounce hosts a variety of attractions that are perfect families, as well as seasonal Halloween and Christmas-time special events like Phantom Fall Fest and Holiday Lights. Yes, as long as all food and drinks fit within a soft-sided cooler size 12”x12”x12”. Please note that hard-sided coolers, alcoholic beverages, and glass containers are prohibited.

Does Lake Compounce take cash?

Unfortunately, no. The park has gone cashless and only accepts electronic payments such as debit/credit cards such as Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. A photo ID is required for all credit card payments. Cash-to-card Kiosks are also available throughout the park to convert cash into a prepaid card. All money left unused on the card can be used anywhere else that cards are accepted.

How much is parking at Lake Compounce?

Parking is available for a nominal fee of $30 + tax for single-day parking and $40 + tax for preferred parking. Subject to change and availability.

What is the chaperone policy?

Guests ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at least age 21 with a valid ID to enter the park after 4:00 PM. Guests ages 13 and under cannot be left unattended in the park at any time. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.

What is the bag policy?

Each guest is only permitted 1 bag with a maximum size of 15” x 15” x 15”. Bags for childcare supplies and medical bags exceeding the size limit will be permitted into the park.
