What type of helicopter will I fly in?

Maverick Helicopter Tours® flies the ECO-Star EC-130 helicopter. This type of helicopter is the most modern helicopter flown within the greater Las Vegas area and offers customers the highest level of safety.

Is there a weight limit?

The maximum weight limit is 300 lbs per passenger, with a maximum total combined weight limit of 1,240 lbs. Please note that guests exceeding the 300-lb per-passenger weight limit will need to purchase an additional seat. Inaccurately stated body weights may result in cancelation without a refund.

What should I bring for my helicopter tour?

Guests over 18 must bring a valid photo ID. Cameras are highly recommended, as well as sunglasses and sunscreen based on the flight type and the time of year.

Will I be picked up at my hotel?

Yes, but only if you purchased the ticket option that includes the Ground Transporation. The other tickets options will require you to check-in at Maverick Helicopters Las Vegas Strip Terminal before your departure time.

Can I fly if I am in a wheelchair?

Yes. Guests who require the use of wheelchairs must have a collapsible wheelchair with removable wheels. Guests must also be accompanied by an individual who can assist with transfer in and out of the helicopter. The tours are ADA compliant.

Can pregnant women participate in the helicopter tours?

Yes. However, they suggest checking with your doctor first.

Can we make our tour reservation when we arrive in Las Vegas?

Due to the popularity of the Las Vegas helicopter tours, they highly recommend purchasing your seats at least two weeks in advance of your intended trip. This will guarantee your spot on a helicopter tour.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled flight. This allows you to check in and provide adequate time for you to weigh in for helicopter seating configuration and process any payments.

When will I be boarding the helicopter?

You will be called for boarding 15 minutes before their scheduled departure time. This 15-minute window allows adequate time for the pilot to conduct a safety briefing and a Maverick team member to take a photo of your group in front of the helicopter.
