The New Orleans Evening Segway Tour “glides” you through the Crescent City while the sun sets on the Mississippi River. An expert will teach you to ride and then lead you down timeless streets as the history of this unique city is presented. You will experience many sights of the French Quarter along with local music, architecture, and of course, food! This 2-hour tour is the perfect way to start the night.

Where is the meeting point?
Segway Tours begin at our office, located at 214 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. Our office is located in the French Quarter directly across from the House of Blues. (Two blocks off of Canal Street and two blocks off the Mississippi River).
Is there parking available near the office?
There are many parking lots around the French Quarter. The closest to the office is at 111 Iberville St. (corner of Iberville st and N. Peters). Their rate is $30 for up to 8 hours.
Are there any age/physical/health/etc. restrictions for this tour?
All participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 100 pounds (45kg) and not over 260 pounds (118 kg). An adult must accompany minors under the age of 18 on tour. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 12 will not be permitted to participate. We have had several people with disabilities join our tours. The necessary range of motion required to operate a Segway is similar to that of being able to transfer weight from one foot to another while walking. Riding a Segway does require the need to be able to stand for long periods.
Am I required to wear a helmet?
Yes.
How big will my group be?
Our Segway tours operate in groups of 8 people per tour guide.
What are some of the tour highlights?
The French Quarter, Mississippi River, Louis Armstrong Park, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, The Old U.S. Mint, Congo Square.
Is the tour appropriate for children?
All participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 100 pounds.
Can I bring my camera?
