San Francisco Plantation House, the most opulent plantation house in North America, is located on the east bank of the Mississippi River, less than 40 minutes from New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a galleried house of the Creole open suite style, nestled under centuries old Live Oaks and contains one of the finest antique collections in the country. This Louisiana Plantation is a National Historic Landmark and is open daily for plantation tours.

Tour Times:
March – October: 9:40AM – 4:40PM
November – February: 9:40AM – 4:00PM

Tours begin every 20 minutes daily. One of our guides, dressed in period attire, will escort you through a 45 minute presentation of all 14 rooms of the plantation and the grounds.

We are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Mardi Gras Day and Easter Sunday.
