How much is parking at Sesame Place?

General Parking is $32 plus tax per vehicle; Preferred Parking is $53 plus tax per vehicle. Prices subject to change.

Does Sesame Place Philadelphia have accessible parking?

Yes, accessible parking spaces are located in the Preferred lot near the main entrance. Vehicles should display an accessible parking permit to the parking attendant. It is recommended to arrive early as spaces are limited and often sell out. A wheelchair or ECV can be arranged to be brought to your vehicle based upon availability.

Are strollers or wheelchairs available to rent?

Yes, large double strollers with seatbelts and canopy are available for all day rental. Wheelchairs and Electric Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis.

If I need to leave the park to get something out of my car, can I get back into the park?

If you wish to re-enter the park on the day of your visit, have your hand stamped upon exiting. When you return to the park, proceed through the bag check area and enter the park through the Re-entry gate where you will present your hand stamp to the park ambassador. We also suggest saving your admission ticket as well.

Is there a place to store my belongings inside the park?

Lockers are conveniently located at the front of the park near Sky Splash, at the back of the park near The Count's Splash Castle. Lockers are self-service and may be purchased on the day of your visit with either cash or a credit card.

Can you bring food into Sesame Place?

No outside food, beverages, or coolers larger than 12x12 are allowed to be brought into the park, with the exception of bottled water or refillable water bottles. Exceptions may be made for guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies and baby food/formula. Upon arrival, contact Park Security at the bag check for approval to bring in special dietary foods.

What types of payment does Sesame Place Philadelphia accept?

The park accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards and most debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash-to-Card kiosks are conveniently located throughout the park where you can transfer your cash (free of charge) to a Visa prepaid debit card.

Are pets allowed?

Service animals are welcome at Sesame Place, limited to trained dogs and miniature horses. They must be leashed or harnessed, housebroken, and under the owner's control at all times. Guests are responsible for cleanup and ensuring their service animal's behavior doesn’t disrupt others. Animals posing safety concerns may result in the guest being asked to leave.

What amenities are available to parents with infants and toddlers?

Sesame Place offers several amenities for parents with infants and toddlers, including life jackets at water attractions, changing stations in restrooms, stroller rentals, and child ID wristbands available at the Welcome Center. The Family Care Center, located next to Big Bird’s Burger & Bites, offers changing stations, bottle warmers, and serves as a dedicated space for children who may become separated from their parents.

Is a Child Swap program available?

Yes, Sesame Place offers a Child Swap program on select dry attractions. This program is ideal for families when one adult needs to ride with multiple children, but the entire party can't ride together. At the front of the line, the adult rides with one child while the other waits with a non-rider. After the ride, the children switch, allowing the adult to ride again without rejoining the line. Note that Sesame Place ambassadors cannot supervise children or participate in the program; a member of your party must manage the swap. Child Swap is not available on water attractions.

What is the park's weather policy?

The park has a Sunny Day Guarantee policy that allows guests to exchange their paid admission ticket for a Sunny Day Ticket if weather affects ride operations or impacts the park’s operating hours. The Sunny Day Ticket is valid for a return visit to the park on any operating day within one year of the issue date. Visit Guest Relations or the Welcome Center upon leaving the park to exchange your ticket for a Sunny Day Ticket. You can also visit Sesame Place website within one week of your visit date to submit a Sunny Day Guarantee claim. The Sunny Day Guarantee does not apply to Season Passes, chaperone, and complimentary tickets. Refunds are not issued for weather.

Is smoking permitted inside the park?

Sesame Place offers guests a smoke-free environment. Smoking is only permitted outside the front gate.

Is there a specific dress code?

Guests must wear appropriate clothing while in the park, including shirts, shoes, and pants or shorts. Clothing with suggestive or offensive language is not permitted. Shoes are required on all mechanical rides. For all water attractions, proper swimwear must be worn and swim diapers are required for all diaper-dependent guests. Water shoes are recommended. Swimsuits, water shoes, and swim diapers are available for purchase inside the park.

Can I save a seat for the parade?

To give all guests an equal opportunity to view the parade, the park does not allow the use of unattended blankets, strollers, bags or towels as a means of saving seats. All unattended items will be taken to the Welcome Center.

Am I allowed to bring any items with me on attractions?

Loose articles, such as hats, glasses, cameras, and bags are not permitted on any of the park's attractions and should be left with a non-rider or in a locker.

Are there any items that are not permitted in the park?

Prohibited items at Sesame Place Philadelphia include weapons of any type or that appear to be weapons, clothing with offensive images or language, full-face coverings for anyone 13 or older, alcohol, glass containers, drones, skateboards, tripods, umbrellas, fireworks, and large inflatables. Coolers larger than 12"x12" are not allowed, and pets are prohibited, except for service animals. For a full list of prohibited items, refer to the park’s official guidelines on their direct website.

Are Segways permitted in the park?

Two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles, such as Segways, are not permitted at Sesame Place. The park offers other forms of personal transportation, including Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV’s) and standard wheelchairs.

What is the park's policy on line cutting?

Cutting in front of guests who are already in line, or saving a spot in line for another guest is prohibited at all rides, attractions, and shows. Guests that exit a line must re-enter at the end of the line. Line cutting, for any reason, can result in ejection from the park.

Some rides required that a child be accompanied by a supervising companion. How is this defined?

For all mechanical rides as well as some water rides, guests not meeting the established height and/or age requirements must be accompanied by a supervising companion at least 14 years of age.
