Yes, Zoo Atlanta allows outside food and drinks. Please note that glass containers, alcohol, and straws are prohibited. Straws are not permitted for the safety of the animals.
Only service animals are allowed. Zoo Atlanta’s Service Animal Admittance Policy defines service animals as dogs or miniature horses who are trained to perform a specific task for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals and other animals are not permitted on zoo grounds.
The list of prohibited items include: weapons or sharp objects, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, straws and lids, drones, fireworks or explosive substances, skateboards, bicycles, and non-motorized scooters. Other restrictions may apply.
